Optic Wave Labs offers the services of its in-house coating facility to the public. We provide standard aluminum coatings as well as semi-enhanced and enhanced reflectivity coatings.

Our automated deposition system can accommodate telescope mirrors up to 20 inches in diameter.

We coat new mirrors as well as re-coat your existing mirror. (A fee for stripping existing coatings applies)

Offered with our coating service is a free evaluation of your telescope mirror’s surface figure using our computerized mirror test apparatus. A brief report will be included with your mirror.

Center Spotting of your newly coated mirror is available for a small fee. Our spotting triangle is compatible with laser collimators, Farpoint ™ Cheshire Collimators and CatsEye™ cheshires.
