# Optic Wave Laboratories > Telescope mirror coating, recoating and aluminizing, optical fabrication, testing and > refiguring. Serving the amateur and professional astronomy community since 2004. ## Services - Telescope mirror coating and recoating (aluminizing) up to 22 inches in diameter - Coating types: standard aluminum (89%), semi-enhanced (92%), enhanced aluminum (96%), protected silver (97%), protected or bare gold. All coatings carry a protective overcoat. - Parabolic and Newtonian telescope primary mirrors made in-house, 6 to 22 inches - Telescope mirror refiguring and figure correction - Free optical testing - Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) mechanical services ## Process All work is performed in-house: diamond curve generation, grinding, polishing, figuring, interferometric testing and vacuum coating. The coating system is a multi-pocket electron beam source with a Veeco ion source providing Ion Beam Assisted Deposition, preceded by glow discharge plasma cleaning. ## Key pages - Coatings and pricing: https://www.opticwavelabs.com/coating.php - Coating reflectivity data: https://www.opticwavelabs.com/coatingdata.php - Telescope mirrors: https://www.opticwavelabs.com/parabolic.php - Refiguring: https://www.opticwavelabs.com/refiguring.php - Optical testing: https://www.opticwavelabs.com/testing.php - Contact: https://www.opticwavelabs.com/contact.php ## Customer portal A customer account system is planned for the 2027 reopening: order submission, inbound and outbound shipment tracking, per-mirror project status, invoicing and optical test results.
